Manufacturer-Backed Warranty Coverage


SxS Performance Parts is an online-only retailer specializing in premium, brand-name components. All warranty coverage is provided directly by the product’s manufacturer. Each manufacturer sets its own terms, conditions, and approval process, and those policies will always take precedence.

Because we do not modify, install, or physically handle products, SxS Performance Parts does not offer or imply any additional warranty beyond the manufacturer’s published coverage.

Submitting a Warranty Claim


To begin a warranty claim, please provide the following:
• Order number
• Product name and part number
• Detailed description of the issue
• Photos or videos clearly showing the defect
• Proof of professional installation (if required by the manufacturer)

Once received, we will forward your claim to the manufacturer for review. All decisions—including approval, denial, repair, or replacement—are made solely by the manufacturer.

Important Warranty Requirements


Most manufacturers require the following for warranty eligibility:
• Proper installation by a qualified technician
• No signs of misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
• No unauthorized modifications
• Use of the product within its intended purpose
• Serial numbers and labels intact and unaltered

Products damaged by accidents, racing, competition use, improper installation, or normal wear and tear are typically not covered.

Processing Time


Warranty review times vary by manufacturer. Some may respond within a few days; others may require additional inspection or documentation. We will keep you updated throughout the process.

Non-Returnable / Non-Warranty Items


The following items generally cannot be returned or warrantied unless the manufacturer explicitly allows it:
• Electrical components
• Installed or used parts
• Custom-built or special-order items
• Clearance or discontinued products
• Items damaged due to improper installation or misuse

Shipping Costs


Shipping costs associated with warranty claims—including sending items to the manufacturer—are the responsibility of the customer unless the manufacturer states otherwise.
